I have my degree in Elementary Education and taught for 4 years before my second child was born. I now have three children: Boston, Carson, and Anniston. They are three of the most lovable children I know and I'm so blessed to call them my own. I'm also married to my best friend and I have been for the past 8 years. Before that we were high school sweethearts... so it seems we had been dating most of our lives even before we were married. My family is so supportive of me and my career, and I'm enjoying every moment I have to use them as the "subjects/models" for my learning. {I'm sure they might not be enjoying that part as much as I am, however.}

I just recently bought my very own studio in downtown Maryville. I've always had the hope of jumping into this full force, but never would have dreamed I would have been able to do it as soon as I did. I'm very grateful to have this chance to expand and offer my clients more.

I have always had a love for art, but didn’t know how and where to funnel my artistic side. It was after I had children when I began to take more interest in photography. I wanted to do more than capture the moment, I wanted to own the moment and make it my memory to keep forever. That’s when I decided to learn more about photography. It is a skill that I will continue to work at because there is always more to know and more to improve on, and that’s what I love the most about it. There is always room for improvement and a chance to keep growing as a professional.

There are somedays that I sit back and just have to take this all in.... To be able to do what I love and to love what I do... the true American Dream.
